Space habitat challenge 2021 is all about an opportunity for the students to put on their thinking caps and propose their ideas for a space habitat. Starting from finding a new world, to building a complete and sustainable habitat there, the entire mission is to be planned.
Format of the Event
Event is organized in two rounds. Registered students shall be given an orientation session about habitat planning in extra-terrestrial bodies as well as guidance on approaching the challenge. More details are available in brochures provided.
- Preliminary Round : Submit a report detailing your design and ideas
- Final Round: 5 teams selected from the preliminary rounds shall give an online presentation on their final concept

Who can participate?
The event is conducted in separate categories for school students (high school/ higher secondary) & undergraduate students.
- Junior level (School)
- The event is open to students of 8th-12th standards from Kerala and Lakshadweep
- A team of up to 5 members (not essentially from the same school) can enter the challenge
- Senior level (College)
- The event is open to undergraduate students from Kerala and Lakshadweep
- A team of up to 5 members (not essentially from the same college) can enter the challenge
