As part of World space week celebrations, 2021, ISRO centres in Thiruvananthapuram are organizing an Online-all Kerala Inter School extempore elocution competition in Malayalam, Hindi and English for school students studying in Kerala. Competitions will be held in three zones ; Thiruvananthapuram zone, Ernakulam Zone and Kozhikode zone. Grouping of zones into various zones is given below along with the contact details.
Competition will be held for high school (classes 8 to 10) and higher secondary school (classes 11 and 12) sections and winners will be announced separately in each zone, and will be rewarded with attractive prizes also.

Competition Theme / Topic
In the online competition, students will be allotted a topic to talk about for 3 minutes (max.). Topic will be broadly related to Space Technology inline with the theme of World Space Week 2021. Topic will be intimated to the candidate around 5 minutes before his /her turn. Each participant shall speak, ONLY in line with this specific topic.

Eligibility
- School students studying in classes from 8th to 12th are eligible to apply.
- This competition will be organized in 3 zones across Kerala and candidates from a particular district shall register in the appropriate zone, where his/her school is located.
Deadline for registration:
24th September, 2021 18:00 Hrs.
How to participate in the event
- Each school can nominate a maximum of 2 nos. of students for each language in each section. The maximum number of students that a school can nominate is 12 nos. , which include 6 nos. for HS and 6nos. for HSS.
- School Principals / school authorities are supposed to fill the registration form
- The number of participants in each language category is limited, so request all of you to register at the earliest.
- Participants are advised to make sure the internet speed and signal strength well in advance. ISRO will not be responsible for loss of opportunity to any participant, due to network issues.
- Judgment will be carried out online, by ISRO officials. Weightage will be given to the following aspects:
- Content
- Diction
- Posture & stage presence
- Purity of language
- Results will be announced around 20th October 2021
