SPACE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

World Space Week is an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition. The theme for World Space Week 2023, "Space and Entrepreneurship", recognizes the growing significance of the commercial space industry in space, and the increasing opportunities for space entrepreneurship and new benefits of space developed by space entrepreneurs.

In connection with this, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (IISU) & Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) under Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is conducting a one day workshop on 5th of October 2023 in Trivandrum with the theme "Space and Entrepreneurship". The sessions include invited talks by various experts from ISRO, IN-SPACe, IT Department, Govt. of Kerala and successful start-ups. The workshop offers an opportunity for students to pitch their ideas in space sector, in front of scientific and business community.
