As part of World Space Week 2018, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (IISU) and Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Thiruvananthapuram shall be organizing lecture programs at various educational institutions in Kerala. Resource persons from the above ISRO centres shall visit educational institutions during the World Space Week (Oct 4 - 10) to give lectures on topics related to space. The programme will be primarily conducted in High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools, Teachers' Training institutions, polytechnics and colleges.
It is a great opportunity for the students to get exposure to the advancements in space science and to know how space technology helps to improve our day-to-day life. In addition various resource materials and kits will also be distributed to the schools. The purpose is to motivate the young generation and is conducted totally free of charge.
Those institutions, interested in conducting this event may please register online on or before September 23, 2018. Please note that the total number of institutions that can be covered in each district is restricted and registration is on first come-first served basis.
